    20 (2023)

Jeff “Mr. Trombone” Bradshaw celebrates two decades of musical brilliance with 20, released via Music Matters Entertainment and The SRG/ILS Group. A deeply personal and reflective project, 20 captures the soundtrack of Bradshaw’s life — from his early days playing in church to his storied career as one of contemporary jazz and soul’s most expressive instrumentalists.

The album includes heartfelt tributes like Carrie’s Bread Puddin’, a moving homage to his mother, and Make Some Time featuring Eric Roberson — a smooth, R&B-infused reminder to pause and connect. Each track reveals a different side of Bradshaw’s artistry, blending Jazz, R&B, and Soul with the warmth, groove, and sincerity that have defined his sound for over 20 years.

“20 years, man. It means to me blessed, relevant, excited, young, and hungry. All those things I still am. I’m still going to create these beautiful songs, and the trombone is going to play a different role in every song.” - Jeff Bradshaw

    stronger (2020)

Trombone virtuoso Jeff “Mr. Trombone” Bradshaw returns with Stronger — a soulful, star-studded celebration of resilience, love, and timeless musicianship. The album showcases an impressive lineup of soul and R&B powerhouses, including Raheem DeVaughn, Robert Glasper, Marsha Ambrosius, Glenn Lewis, Conya Doss, and Frank McComb.

From the lush reinterpretation of André 3000’s “Prototype” featuring DeVaughn and Glasper to the heartfelt duet “I Do (Sincerely)” with Ambrosius, Stronger bridges generations of soulful expression. Bradshaw also delivers stunning tributes to music legends — including a reimagined version of Stevie Wonder’s Superwoman (Where Were You?) featuring Glenn Lewis and Frank McComb, and a tender instrumental homage to Beyoncé’s Me, Myself and I.

With his unmistakable tone and emotional depth, Jeff Bradshaw reminds us why real musicianship never goes out of style. Stronger is a masterclass in collaboration and creativity — a soulful statement that reaffirms music’s power to inspire, uplift, and unite.

    Bone Appétit (Parts I & II – Deluxe, 2012)

With Bone Appétit, Jeff Bradshaw offers a bold, multi-course musical feast — a double-volume set that blends soulful grooves, heartfelt vocals, and his signature brass flourish. The project features 20 tracks across Vol. 1: Main Course and Vol. 2: Deuxième Course, delivered either as separate digital volumes or in a combined deluxe 2-CD edition.

Rather than being an instrumental showcase, vocals lead much of this collection. Bradshaw enlists a star-studded roster including Raheem DeVaughn, Marsha Ambrosius, Kindred the Family Soul, Maysa Leak, PJ Morton, Ms. Jade, and more, while also stepping to the mic himself on select cuts. Standouts include a reimagined take on Janet Jackson’s “Got ‘Til It’s Gone” (with Marsha Ambrosius), an expressive cover of Mos Def’s “Umi Says,” and smooth romantic tracks like “All Day Lovin’” with Kindred the Family Soul.

Critics praised Bone Appétit for its ambition and depth. One review called it a “musical menu … far surpass[ing] his debut” and noted it as “a groove-packed 20-tracker … put together with passion, commitment and soul.” Others observed that Bradshaw “tastefully does his covers justice” and that the album “cater[s] well to the lovers and those who genuinely want to have a good time.”

In creating Bone Appétit, Bradshaw also infused a deeper purpose: his reinterpretation of Got ‘Til It’s Gone was tied to raising awareness and support for post–Hurricane Katrina rebuilding efforts in New Orleans.

This album stands as a dynamic, soulful evolution in Bradshaw’s catalog — a richly textured work where the trombone still shines, but the voices carry the melodies and stories.

    Bone Deep (Debut Album, 2003)

Description goes Jeff Bradshaw’s Bone Deep, released October 14, 2003, marked his bold solo debut — a project that redefined the trombone’s role in contemporary jazz and soul. The album spans more than an hour of lush, groove-driven tracks that blend instrumental mastery with deep emotion and Philly soul flavor.

Featuring collaborations with artists like Jill Scott (notably on the standout single “Slide”), Bone Deep showcases Bradshaw’s expressive, lyrical trombone style. The album’s mix of vocal and instrumental cuts strikes a balance between soulful intimacy and jazz sophistication. On “Guess You’ll Never Know,” Bradshaw even takes the mic himself, weaving his rich baritone voice with his horn to create a strikingly personal statement.

Critics praised Bone Deep as an ambitious and genre-bending debut — one that positioned Bradshaw as a fresh voice in smooth jazz and neo-soul. Even when his experiments stretched beyond convention, the album affirmed his mission: to make the trombone sing, groove, and connect.
